India's Road To Victory






Ok let me tell you have India won the World Twenty20.India had earlier played only one Twenty20 match , which they had won.So they had got an simple chance to do some practice against Scotland in thier first match but the match was abondened due to rain so both teams got one point.And so Indians had to play against Pakistan who was a tough team.India won the toss and selected to bat.They were struggling but managed to get 141 which means Pakistan had to chase 142.After many good strokes Pakistan needed 1 run in 2 balls but medium pacer Shree Sreesanth did not lose hope and the first ball was missed by the batsman so 1 run in 1 ball.The next ball was hit to covers , the batsman tried running hard but coud not complete the run.So it was a tie.And there was a ball out , which India won with ease.So they went to the Super 8's.In the first match we lost against New Zealand which meant India had to win the next two matches against England and South Africa , which India did with Yuvraj hitting Six Sixes in an over against England.

India also won the Semi Final against Lord Of The Pitch - Australia.Then it was again India Pakistan in the final.India were successful in making 150 plus,but the pakistanis were not able to make the tough targetagainst the unstoppable wicket taker R.P.Singh.So Indians were the World Champions.

I speak to the attendant at the counter. It's not the first time I'm there. I recognize her, in her spectacles, and despite the face-covering she wears. I leave for the States in less than a week — to pursue my second degree, a master’s in computer science at the University of California San Diego. The first one was a bachelor’s in biochemical engineering and biotechnology, from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. "How's Mihir?", my aunt asked my mother a day before I was scheduled to fly out to the States. My mother has been a creative creature for as long as my memory serves me, and her reply only reinforced that belief  — "He seems fine, but only once he writes his blog a year and a half later, will we know for sure." I remember this exchange distinctly, and moreover I wrote it down in my diary  — something I had decided to maintain over the course of the next foreseeable future.
